BACKGROUND: We evaluated the amounts of amyloid beta (Aβ)) peptides in the central
nervous system (CNS) and in reservoirs outside the CNS and their potential impact on Aβ
plasma levels and Alzheimer's disease (AD) pathology. METHODS: Amyloid β levels were
