In this issue of Neuron, a study by Billings et al. points to intracellular Aβ as a possible cause
of neuronal dysfunction. In a mouse model of Alzheimer's disease, Billings et al. link
appearance of intraneuronal Aβ to cognitive impairments and then show that" clearance" of
