[HTML][HTML] Mechanisms of cell recruitment in the immune response to Mycobacterium tuberculosis

W Peters, JD Ernst - Microbes and infection, 2003 - Elsevier
Recent advances in understanding cell traffic, especially the roles of adhesion proteins,
chemokines, and chemokine receptors, provide the opportunity for understanding
mechanisms involved in the immune response to tuberculosis. This review concentrates on
the roles of these molecules and the immune response in tuberculosis, based on studies of
humans and mice infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
