Ultraviolet B radiation (UVB) has been shown to damage human keratinocytes in part by
inducing oxidative stress and cytokine production. Indeed, UVB-induced production of the
pro-inflammatory and cytotoxic cytokine tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α) has been implicated
