Nitric oxide (NO) has been implicated in the etiopathology of multiple sclerosis (MS) and its
animal model, experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE), and inhibition of NO
synthesis has been proposed to be a possible mechanism of action of drugs to treat MS. In
